Physio On, represented by Nuno Santos and Paul Marsat, had the opportunity to travel with their official partners Gracie Barra Fulham 'Team Lagarto' to the European Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship. The competition was spread over a week and Physio On provided pre-fight preparation, warm up, as well as injury management throughout the tournament to the fighters, amongst which were Lúcio ‘Lagarto’ Rodriguez and Arya Esfandmaz. Arya had sustained a serious ankle sprain a couple of weeks before the competition and he worked extremely hard to be able to step on the mats and represent his team. Lagarto dealt with some lower back pain but being the champion that he is, he showed the example and grabbed yet another silver medal.
