What happens during the sessions?

Initial Consultation

Your first Physiotherapy consultation is a comprehensive and collaborative session aimed at understanding your condition and creating a customised treatment plan. During this session, you can expect:

  • Detailed discussion: We take the time to review your medical history, lifestyle and specific concerns to build a complete picture of your condition.

  • Physical assessment: Our physiotherapists evaluate your posture, movement patterns, strength, flexibility and areas of discomfort to identify the root cause of your symptoms.

  • Personalised treatment plan: Based on the findings, we work with you to set clear, achievable goals and create a treatment plan that addresses your unique needs.

  • Initial treatment: Your treatment begins right away during this session, often including hands-on therapy to start your recovery and provide immediate relief.

Follow-up Consultations

Physiotherapy follow-up sessions are designed to ensure your ongoing recovery and adapt your treatment plan as your needs evolve. Each session typically includes:

  • Ongoing monitoring: We monitor your improvements and reassess your condition to ensure the treatment plan remains effective.

  • Targeted treatments: Each session focuses on specific areas of improvement using techniques such as manual therapy, exercise programmes or other modalities.

  • Expert feedback and support: We provide continuous guidance to help you stay on track and address any challenges you may encounter. This includes preventative advice on improving posture and avoiding future injuries, as well as home exercise programmes with tailored exercises to complement your in-clinic treatments and accelerate recovery.

Do we accept health insurance?

We are registered with most major insurance providers, including Allianz, Aviva, Axa Health, Axa Global, Bupa, Bupa Global, Cigna Global, Healix and WPA. If you are covered by one of these providers, please ensure the following:

  • You provide your insurance policy or membership number, authorisation code for treatment and number of sessions authorised prior to your appointment. Without this information, you will be responsible for covering the treatment at our private rate.

  • You review your insurance coverage and policy terms before your appointment to confirm that your treatment will be covered.

  • You understand that any unpaid balances, including excess fees, are your responsibility and will need to be paid privately.

If you are with an insurance provider not listed above, payment for treatment will be due on the day of service. However, we can provide you with an invoice with all the necessary details you need for reimbursement. In this case, we recommended contacting your insurance provider beforehand to verify the level of coverage for the treatment at our private rate.

For more information, please refer to your insurance policy terms, read our terms and conditions or contact us for guidance.
